Components Of Power-assisted Steering
Power Assist: Power-Assisted Steering reduces steering effort, making manoeuvring easier. It is an electro-hydraulic system, combining the best of hydraulic and electric power steering. An electric motor provides additional torque directly to the helm, improving accuracy, responsiveness, and reducing steering lag.
Tilt Steering: Adjustable Tilt Steering reduces fatigue during high-speed cruising, enhances comfort, and adds a sporty feel. It offers adjustable Tilt Steering with 5 stops at 12-degree intervals, for a total range of 0 to 48 degrees. A ratchet lock secures the tilt position, allowing drivers to change steering height while maintaining boat control.
Hydraulic Helm: Hydraulic Pump is an axial piston driven pump which draws and pushes the flow of Steering Fluid when the wheel mounted on the Helm Shaft is rotated.
