Glydus Power Steering Systems
Power Assist: Power-Assisted Steering reduces steering effort, making manoeuvring easier. It is an electro-hydraulic system, combining the best of hydraulic and electric power steering. An electric motor provides additional torque directly to the helm, improving accuracy, responsiveness, and reducing steering lag.
Tilt Steering: Adjustable Tilt Steering reduces fatigue during high-speed cruising, enhances comfort, and adds a sporty feel. It offers adjustable Tilt Steering with 5 stops at 12-degree intervals, for a total range of 0 to 48 degrees. A ratchet lock secures the tilt position, allowing drivers to change steering height while maintaining boat control.
Hydraulic Helm: A hydraulic pump is an axial piston-driven pump that draws and pushes the flow of Steering Fluid when the wheel mounted on the Helm Shaft is rotated.

Glydus Showcases Electric Power Steering Systems at the 8th Indonesia Marine & Offshore Expo 2025
Glydus, a global leader in advanced steering systems for both outboard and inboard boats, proudly participated in the 8th Indonesia Marine & Offshore Expo 2025, held from August 6th to 8th at the Radisson Golf and Convention Centre, Batam, Indonesia.
At booth no. 132-133, the Glydus team presented its latest innovation โ Electric Power Steering Systems for inboards, featuring Joystick-enabled controls and PLC compliance. These cutting-edge steering solutions drew strong interest from marine professionals, engineers, and decision-makers from across the region.A major highlight of the event was the visit of the Honโble Governor, who took time to interact with the Glydus team and explore the new steering technologies firsthand. The event witnessed a high level of footfall, and the response to Glydusโs display was overwhelmingly positive. Visitors were especially impressed by the live demonstrations of the joystick-enabled electric power steering system. Many described the experience as โtruly remarkableโ and left the booth amazed at the systemโs smooth handling, intuitive control, and modern design.
