Power-assisted Steering
COMPONENTS OF POWER-ASSISTED STEERING
POWER ASSIST Power-Assisted Steering reduces steering effort, making manoeuvring easier. It is an electro-hydraulic system, combining the best of hydraulic and electric power steering. An electric motor provides additional torque directly to the helm, improving accuracy, responsiveness, and reducing steering lag.
TILT STEERING Adjustable Tilt Steering reduces fatigue during high-speed cruising, enhances comfort, and adds a sporty feel. It offers adjustable Tilt Steering with 5 stops at 12-degree intervals, for a total range of 0 to 48 degrees. A ratchet lock secures the tilt position, allowing drivers to change steering height while maintaining boat control.
HYDRAULIC HELM: Hydraulic Pump is an axial piston driven pump which draws and pushes the flow of Steering Fluid when the wheel mounted on the Helm Shaft is rotated.
